Program disclaimer
Exactly what Barmaj is, and exactly what it is not. Written plainly because the distinction matters.

What Barmaj is
Barmaj is an engineering experience program. Participants work on realistic software projects in a supervised environment, take part in the practices professional teams use, and receive review and feedback from experienced engineers.
What Barmaj is not
Barmaj is not a course, a bootcamp, a school or a training provider, and it does not award any qualification. Taking part is not a role at a company, and it does not create any working relationship between a participant and Barmaj or any other organisation. Participants are not paid, and no work is performed for a client.
What you receive
A record of your participation and of the engineering practices you took part in, supported by references to the specific work behind each statement. It is a description of what you did. It is not a qualification and it is not issued by any awarding body.
What we do not promise
We make no promise, guarantee or representation about any outcome, including any outcome relating to work or income. Nobody at Barmaj can offer or arrange a position at any company, and any claim otherwise would be untrue.
Your own work
Contributions are made on your own accounts, and the projects are exercises rather than production systems belonging to a customer.
Age
Barmaj is for adults only. Participants must be 18 or older.
